Product Usage Guidelines

You can choose a shared or private plan

Shared plan: We provide shared accounts. Each account can be used by up to five customers in the same group. Each person can log in to one device.

1. Any account-related information (e.g. account number, password, plan, payment, connected applications) cannot be modified
2. The account is for personal use only by the purchaser or lessee. It should be kept properly to prevent loss or theft. The account should not be provided, leaked, shared or transferred to others.

The relevant content may not be protected by privacy security. If you or other users in the same group mention sensitive information when using it, this information may be at risk of being leaked. It is recommended that you use the " Incognito Search " function. The conversation will not be displayed in the record, and will not be used or built into memory or used to train the model.

In addition, although there is a limit on the number of people using the system, if multiple people are using the system at the same time, we cannot completely rule out the possibility that conversations may be restricted or you may have to wait before you can continue using the system.

If your conversation may involve sensitive information, or you have concerns about the above issues, we recommend that you choose a personal plan to ensure higher privacy protection and usage stability.

Personal plan: Only available for accounts that have not used Perplexity PRO before. You can use your own account or have an account provided by us.

By default, we will " activate the serial number and enable PRO Professional Edition qualification on your behalf " after you log in or register . If you want to use your own account but do not want to provide your account and password, we can also provide you with a serial number for you to activate it yourself. However, please note that due to the special nature of the virtual serial number, once it is issued, you cannot apply for a refund or exchange for any reason unless you provide a complete video proof.

If you choose to activate the serial number yourself and cannot activate it, you must meet the following conditions to apply for a refund:

Complete video proof : To ensure the serial number invalidation proof is complete, your video must be clear and coherent and include the following scenes:

1. Screen showing that the serial number has not yet been received (confirming that the serial number has not yet been obtained).
2. The screen for receiving the serial number (displaying the serial number issuance time and content).
3. A screen to enter and redeem your code (clearly showing the redemption result, such as "Unable to activate" or "Wrong code").

Account is eligible for redemption : This serial number is only for new users , which means that the account has never subscribed to PRO Professional Edition . If your account has already used the PRO version, the serial number will not be applicable even if the subscription has expired. This situation does not mean that the serial number is invalid and cannot be returned or exchanged.
